Ajit Pai is Managing Director at Plumeria Holdings, a leading global advisory and investment firm. Prior to Plumeria, Mr. Pai was Managing Director, Equity Research, at Stifel Financial and Thomas Weisel Partners (merged with Stifel in 2010) focused on the growth sectors of U.S. equities, leading their Applied Technologies research effort. Mr. Pai has received numerous Starmine/Financial Times/Forbes awards in their World’s Top Analysts Survey with five #1 awards for earnings estimate accuracy and stock picking in the six years through 2011, an unprecedented performance for the industry. Mr. Pai has been in technology & communications research at Lazard and a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co. Mr. Pai attended Yale University as a Tata Scholar and also served as a John M Olin Fellow for research on regulation in markets. Mr. Pai is actively involved in several economic development, education, and urbanism forums, while actively pursuing ecological conservation, horticulture, sustainable agriculture, and viticulture. He has done his MBA in Yale University – Yale School of Management and done his master from Yale School of Architecture.
