The future cities of India, through planning or informal growth, will be one of high-density urbanism, and it is imperative that we study and analyze how new types of soft, informal, retrofitted, and hybridized networks can be used to consciously and deliberately grow and support desirable and fascinating urban formations. The notion of soft infrastructures is considered as an urban generator, based on simply getting clean water, clean air, clean internet, clean education, and clean food into urban housing instantly.
